Space and clutter

Where can I find calm when it all seems too much?

Right now it feels like I've over-committed myself.

If I focus my attention of the thought of ALL the things that I've promised to get done over the next few days, and my body's feeling tired, and I believe I won't have enough energy, tension begins to appear.

The story builds... I'll let people down. Again.

The tension rises.

I get into a rush.

Nothing's allowed to go wrong!

So when I notice this habitual process begin to take hold, I try to get curious.

There may be a number of meaningful tasks to do today, which I LOVE, but how can I just do this one right now, giving it my full attention?

I can still be very relaxed and efficient here and now, without worrying about all the rest.

And then take this simplicity into the next task.

So, right now, I notice how I am sitting, sense my breathing and then rest my focus on accomplishing this one task at hand.
